On behalf of the Basque Program at the University of Santa Barbara sponsored by Etxepare Institute, and in collaboration with Extension Program at UCSB, we are pleased to announce the upcoming lecture by Prof. Thomas Hertweck (University of Nevada, Reno) that will take place this coming Wednesday (April 22nd) at 4pm, at the Graduate Lounge Room (Multicultural Center).



The title of the lecture is "What We talk about when We talk about Food?" and in this presentation Prof. Hertweck will explore the idea of how the language of food has been addressed in American Culture and Literature and the reflexive gesture of talking about what we are eating when we are eating it.
