We are pleased to invite you to celebrate our homage to Gabriel Garcia Márquez on Tuesday, May 27 at 5:00pm in the McCune Conference Room (6020 HSSB).
The event will start with brief presentations by Professors Jill Levine, Sara Poot-Herrera, and Cristina Venegas (the latter accompanied by film clips). Then several graduate students and faculty will read passages of GGM´s novels or short stories to pay tribute to his literary legacy. Some Caribbean music will follow (again provided by professor Cristina Venegas). Finally some food and refreshement will be served.
