Carmen Araujo holds a bachelor's degree in Linguistics and Literature with an emphasis in Hispanic Literature from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP). She is currently pursuing a Master and PhD at the University of California where she was awarded the Chancellor's Fellowship. Her main research interests include 20th-21st Century Peninsular Spanish Literature and Culture, Non-realistic fiction, Critical Theory, Deconstruction and Postmodernism.
